Not Sure What Anime ABC’s Is?

Anime ABC’s is a fun community focused event that I run here at Jon Spencer Reviews. Any and all people can participate in this event, even if you know nothing about anime! So how exactly does this all work? It’s simple! Just follow the link above and vote for as many of the listed shows (or provide your own) that seem interesting to you. Each round moves to the next letter in the alphabet, so the current “N” round is the fourteenth anime ABC’s. This is done to keep things interesting and to allow for more variety with each passing round.

The goal of this series is to encourage community input, interaction, as well as to allow me to discover cool new shows, or in some cases, rediscover ones that I previously watched. You can check out my previous ABC reviews for:  Anohana, Bacanno!, Code Geass, The Devil is a Part-Timer, Erased, Flowers of Evil, Gunslinger Girl (S1-2 + OVA’s), Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, I Can’t Understand What My Husband is Saying, Joker Game, Kimi no Na wa, Little Witch Academiaor Mob Psycho 100. by clicking either of their respective titles for examples of what the end result looks like.

So what are you waiting for? Vote now and be sure to come back next week to see which show ended up winning this round.

Not Sure What Anime ABC’s Is?

Anime ABC’s is a fun community event that I run here at Jon Spencer Reviews. Any and all are welcome to participate in determining what anime I’ll be reviewing next for this series. Each voting round cycles to the next letter in the alphabet, that means we are currently on our sixth voting round. This is done to keep things interesting and to allow for more variety in options each time.

The goal of this series is to encourage community input, interaction, as well as to allow me to discover cool new shows, or in some cases, rediscover ones that I previously watched. You can check out my previous ABC reviews for Anohana, Bacanno!, Code Geass, The Devil is a Part-Timer, or Erased by clicking either of their respective titles for examples of what the end result looks like.

Anime ABC’s – D Voting Round

Time Again to Vote!

Anime ABC’s D Voting Round. Vote Here! <—Click Me!

I’ve improved the voting method so each title is also accompanied by a picture that shows what the anime looks like. This was done mostly for folks who aren’t familiar with a particular title and because a wall of text isn’t that interesting.

Voting will be open from today until 12/30/16 at 11:59PM. Voting is open longer than normal this round due to Christmas.

Remember to encourage others to vote for your choice. We had 13 people vote in total last time which is up from the B round before it. We still have yet to smash the 40 vote record set by the A round. Let’s shoot for a new record with the D round.

Thanks for voting!

What Is Anime ABC’s???

Anime ABC’s is a community event where any and all are welcome to vote on what anime I review next. We do this by cycling through the alphabet. Previously, we voted on an “A” anime which ended in a tie between Angle Beats! and Anohana. I ended up having to break the tie and reviewed Anohana. We had a pretty big turn out for voting last time, so I hope to see just as many voters this time around as well!

Anime ABC’s – Announcement & Voting

Hello Everybody!

I’m very excited to be trying out something new. Every few weeks I’d like to do what I’m calling “Anime ABC’s” where you, yes YOU, get to vote on an anime that I’ll review in full, here on the site. We’ll be cycling through the alphabet so each time we’ll get something completely different. This time we’ll be focusing on anime that start with the letter “A” for either the English or Japanese title.

uncle-sam-i-want-you-to-voteHere’s where you come in. I need you to vote by clicking HERE on what anime I should review. I’ve made a list of every anime that starts with “A” that I’ve seen or own already. However, you can add your own suggestion. Be sure to read the instructions in the survey though so your vote counts. Voting begins TODAY and ends MONDAY (9/12/16). Anybody can vote and you can vote only once per device.

After voting has closed I’ll announce the results. From there I’ll either watch the show (if I haven’t already) or get stated on the review. If this goes well, we’ll do this every few weeks or so. What are you waiting for? VOTE!
