After the hectic year that was 2020, we never thought that we would ever be going to the movies again. Yet, as of late, movie theaters (and businesses) have slowly, yet surely been in the process of reopening for the public anxious to go out and have a good time. Though it may still be a while before we reach normalcy, there are still some more movies to look forward to in the months to follow. As we get closer to the summer months, the choices of movies are still limited. Yet here are the movies I am most looking forward to as we reach the start of May all the way through August.

Jacob’s Top 10 Movie Duets

When it comes to movie musicals, nothing is more magical than a duet; the combination of two voices in perfect harmony are enough to resonate with audiences and make the experience special. As someone who likes to sing karaoke as much as he can, I have heard any a sweet, charming duet (and even dabbled with it). It gave me inspiration to come up with ten of my favorite duets the silver screen has to offer. While a lot of them are amazing in their own way, I could only pick ten that stick with me the most; the ones that would (and should) be sung for karaoke night. So grab a partner and get ready to do these ten lovely movie duets that you may want to consider. These are not the best duets per se, but these are what I prefer the most. The time has finally come! It took me a while to get to due to getting the chance to see ‘Downsizing’, ‘Pitch Perfect 3’, ‘Bright’, and ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’. Now, I can say that I am finally doing my favorite write-up of the year: Ranking my Top 10 films that made an impact on my movie-going experience! (Stay tuned for my 10 Worst films of the year!) Unlike previous years, these films are not specifically ranked by grade as much as to how I loved them. (even though, it is a major factor in my choices) With all that being said; on with the countdown!

The only rules are that I can only mention shows I finished for the first time during 2017 and they have to be complete. No ongoing stuff (sorry Magus Bride) I watched a lot of shows (78~) this year so it was a tough choice for some of these. Let’s get this party started with the number ten spot!

In honor of this week’s release of ‘The Dark Tower’, starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey; based on the popular book series by horror master Stephen King, as well as next month’s newest R-rated adaptation of ‘IT’ by King. Before I get started, the thing about Stephen King is that his work is so popular that it was a shame I couldn’t do a list on my favorite adaptations until now.
