Too Much Anime!
Alright, the Spring 2021 season was stacked, and after taking a closer look, I realized I watched a pretty big chunk of the shows. Rather than do a bunch of individual reviews, I thought it’d be fun to do a best and worst of list featuring five shows for their respective categories. Today I’m looking at the cream of the crop, along with why I thought they were great. Keep in mind some stuff I didn’t watch on purpose (looking at you Fruits Basket finale) or it just may not have interested me, so if your favorite show is missing that’s likely why. Let me know at the end of the article what would have made your list. Continue reading “Best in Season – Spring 2021”

The 2010’s Were Full of Great Titles!
There were so many great titles in the past decade, in fact, that I had a hard time only picking 10 of them. So, since we are entering 2020, I thought I’d expand the list to 20 titles! Before we dive in, I need to state that only shows I actually watched to completion were eligible for the list, so if a title is missing, I probably just didn’t watch it yet. Additionally, films will be included on this list as well since there were a few that came out and I saw that I really liked, but not enough for a separate list. Finally, these are my picks, so if you disagree, just make your own list, I’d love to see it! Continue reading “My Top 20 Anime of The Decade”
So Many Themes, So Few Thoughts
Uchouten Kazoku, or The Eccentric Family, is an anime that has been sitting on my shelf (and watch list) for a few years now. A lot of people in the blogging community have sung its praises and recommended it a great number of time to me, and it did look good. Centered on a disjointed family comprised of some tanuki, a tengu, and a human there is a story about unbreakable bonds, hardship, and interpersonal drama. There are so many themes and ideas present within the anime, but while I enjoyed the show, I don’t have much to actually say about it. Don’t go just yet though, because contrary to what I just said, I do actually have quite a bit to say. Continue reading “Anime ABC’s U is for Uchouten Kazoku”
You guys voted over on my Twitter for me to do a list featuring some anime you might have missed, some might even say obscure, so here we are! I’ve actually done two lists like this in the past which you can read those here and here. So in total, you’ll be getting a whole 15 anime recommendations today! You’ll certainly have a lot of shows to pick from after this.
Much like previous lists, titles featured here are ones I’ve watched. These entries are not ranked in any way and I tried to pick a variety of titles so you can find at least one potential show to give a chance to. Of course, I might have left out a really great title so feel free to make additional recommendations in the comments below for both myself and your fellow readers. Let’s get on with the list!
