Dota Underlords (Open Beta) – Taking the Mod in the Right Direction

I’m Never Going Back…

That is to say, I’m never going back to the original Dota Auto Chess mod now that Valve has released their own standalone version of the game available on Steam, and mobile platforms for free. When I first heard word of this new entry in the “Auto Chess” genre, I thought it was a good move but just wasn’t sure if they’d be able to land it. After all, these are the folks who brought us Artifact, which was a total disaster despite its excellent gameplay. Having been enjoying the game in closed beta though, I can confidently say that this is a great game that is moving in the right direction. Artifact – Great Game, Bad Execution

Predatory Practice

Valve announced, much to the displeasure of many, the release of their newest title since Dota 2 in 2013, a card game titled Artifact. Being an avid player of card games, and having reviewed several of the biggest ones in the market currently, in some form or another (Hearthstone, Shadowverse, and others), I was afforded the opportunity to take a look at this one as well. What sets Artifact apart from those games is that it is not free-to-play, features designs from world-famous Richard Garfield, and mimics the real-world TCG scene seen in games like Magic the Gathering with its closed economy system. Heroes of the Storm – Blizzard Does it Again

I’m a Huge Fan of Hearthstone & Overwatch

So when my friend suggested we try out Heroes of the Storm during a promotional event they had earlier this summer, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it out. Heroes of the Storm, or HotS for short, is a free to play MOBA game similar to Dota 2 and League of Legends. What sets it apart is that its much easier to learn with streamlined gameplay.
