Ok, I Know This is Late…

Way back in December 2017, Derek posted on his site, Apprentice Mages Lounge, a post titled, “My Anime Music Playlist…” in which he shared his anime playlist at the time. He then went and requested others share their lists with him. I had intentions to do so, but I wanted to wait until I had a respectable list. Well, nearly a year later, I believe today is finally that day with my current 80+ song list which I updated weekly since the day Derek originally posted!

I was watching Sweetness & Lightning with my mother awhile back and we had an excellent time watching it. It reminded me of Barakamon and Usagi Drop, two shows that have some commonalities with Sweetness & Lightning. This got me thinking, “Why exactly do shows like these appeal so much to me?” Join me as I discuss why anime like these are so impactful to me and why they have such innate appeal.

Forward:  Derek (Apprentice Mages Lounge) and I were talking on Twitter awhile back about spam comments when I had the idea to share some of the weirder/funnier ones as tweets. Well forget that idea! Writing a story from them seems way better. Everything written is based off of spam comments. In some cases, I’ll even directly quote them. The views expressed in this are not necessarily my own, and again, it’s based off of real spam comments that I receive. Not sure how long this will last but I’ll do this as long as I keep getting spam and have ideas for it.
