Image result for TsuritamaI don’t think it is any secret that I don’t exactly handle stress well. Anxiety simply isn’t a fun time even if you don’t have any anxiety disorders or anything. It’s something we’ve all experienced at least once or twice. Not too long ago I accidentally purchased an anime titled Tsuritama which is about a group of high school boys who fish together. It’s also about aliens and saving the world but, that’s anime for you. What really stuck out for me though was how they portrayed the main character’s anxiety in the early episodes. 79697lHaving first watched Anohana The Flower We Saw That Day about 2 years ago, I absolutely loved it. However, I wanted a fresh opinion on this one and gave it a rewatch. I really expected my enjoyment of the series to drastically decline and be left with just a moderate appreciation for Anohana by time I was done. Anime Review 5 & Part of Halloween Week🎃

I finally finished it! This review has been a long time coming but truthfully it was for Halloween Week from the start. From The New World originally aired in 2012 and was produced by A-1 Pictures. The anime is 25 episodes long and takes around 10 hours to complete. Billed as a horror show that is greatly underrated, does From The New World (an obvious reference to Antonin Dvorak’s symphony of the same name) hold up to all the hype?
