Anime ABC’s R Results

Which Title Took Home the Gold?

The results are in on our 18th round of Anime ABC’s! We had 20 unique voters this time, which is just slightly below average for us. Most shows received about 4-6 votes each, with the low end being 0 and the high end at 9. The big loser was Radiant, which I can’t say I’m all too surprised about. I never thought it would win, but it didn’t even get a single vote…

Enough anticipation though. Our big winner today is Run With the Wind! This is the first time that a recently aired show has ever won. I really wanted to watch this anyway, so now I have the perfect excuse. For those who don’t know, the source is by the same person who did The Great Passage, which was a show I absolutely loved. I don’t expect this to be quite that good, but it may just surprise me. A lot of you folks seemed to enjoy it, so I’m sure you’ll be anticipating my thoughts on this one.

As usual, I’ll leave the full results below for your viewing pleasure. If you need some content to hold you over until I get this article out, I’ll be posting every M/W/F at 11:00 AM PST unless otherwise noted. Additionally, be sure to check out my look at Cowboy Bebop and its film or consider exploring the big alphabetized list of every anime I’ve reviewed.

Other votes:  Recovery of an MMO Junkie, Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san, and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai*

*Please note that Recovery of an MMO Junkie and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai would not have been counted toward the official vote had they won. I already have reviews of each series on the site in my alphabetized list, which is listed in the voting rules. In future rounds, please be sure to utilize that resource to ensure that your vote is not wasted.

    1. I’m kind of glad Run with the Wind won because I haven’t seen it yet and wanted to watch it anyway. Often a show I’ve seen several times over wins, so it is a nice change of pace. Nothing against Rokka or Robotics;Notes though.

If I had to choose between those two, I would have gone for Robotics;Notes, there is more stuff to talk about there, especially positively. Not that Rokka is bad, but I would have a lot less to say.
