Celebrating the 4th – What Are Your Favorite Firework Scenes in Anime?

It’s the 4th and I’m Feeling Lazy!

Going to shoot straight with you guys, I was getting to work on all those mini reviews you all wanted while getting some bigger articles I started a few weeks ago topped off when I decided I didn’t really want to do much today. Plus, I also don’t want to flood you guys with a ton of mini reviews. Lastly, I still have the WIXOSS collab to finish up but that is looking to be later this week anyhow. Ultimately, I decided to ask you all what your favorite firework scenes in anime were. Here are a few of mine!

Anohana

Let’s get the sad one out of the way first. For spoiler reasons I won’t be embedding the video directly for easy viewing but you can watch the scene here. An emotional moment and just all around great scene in Anohana. Maybe this is a bit of an odd choice, but I do really love this fireworks scene.

Barakomon

This entry is more of a happy one! I love Barakomon and a fireworks scene makes it all the better. If you haven’t had the chance to watch this one yet I would highly encourage you to check it out. Need more info, consider checking out this article where I discuss this show and a few others similar to it.

Plastic Memories

Outside of a few moments, I didn’t love this anime. That said, the firework show episode was one of the episodes I really enjoyed. I may or may not be writing something more in-depth about this one so we’ll see 😉

How About You?

Now I’ll turn things to you! Be sure to tell us what your favorite firework scene(s) is in anime. Include a picture, gif, or even video if you’d like as well! That’s it for today. If you are in the US be safe and enjoy yourself on this holiday. See you all later this week!

  1. The Anohana one just hits right in the feels. Though there’s also yet another devastating one (after seeing a meme tweet), which is from Koe no Katachi. 😥
I’d go with One Week Friend’s mini fireworks display as my favourite for this case. 🙂

  2. Well…this might sound stupid: but you have already included it: the Plastic Memories scene. I have to be honest that I absolutely loved that anime, but I do realise it’s not for everyone. Great idea for a post by the way 😀😀
