You Get the Idea
By now I’m sure you’re used to this opening spiel. Here’s the schedule if you’d like to take a look at it. For today’s entry I’ll be talking about an anime I could watch a whole bunch and never get tired of. Of course, I’m taking a tiny bit of liberty with the prompt and assuming that it doesn’t mean I could literally just sit down and watch this back-to-back forever but rather I would be totally down for this title pretty much anytime. Can you guess what title I’ll choose? Let’s find out!
There are several great anime series I could consider for this entry but today I’ll be picking a film. Even among films, there are still a lot of choices. However, one title stands above the rest for me at that would be Wolf Children. I’ve written about this movie a lot so I’m going to keep things pretty quick today.
I’ve seen Wolf Children well over 10 times and I love it each time. Not only is it a great film but it is one that even people who are not traditionally fans of anime can enjoy too. On top of all this, Wolf Children also makes a great family film for all ages! There is a bit of that typical “Japanese weirdness” that most of us are accustomed to but nothing that is off-putting for anybody I’ve seen it with.
The reason I love the film so much is that it explores themes such as family, which I really love. If you have the opportunity to watch this with your mother or a similar figure in your life I can almost guarantee that they will love this film and appreciate you watching it with them.
If you haven’t had the chance to watch Wolf Children yet I hope you will give it a chance on the next rainy day when you are looking for a good film to watch. Hopefully you’ll gather some other folks to watch it with you and you’ll all have a great time as well. Even if you watch it alone, I’m sure you will enjoy it too!
What do you think of my pick? Do you love Wolf Children as much as I do too? Let me know in the comments below along with your choice for today’s prompt. If you like the work I’m doing here, please consider helping me out and taking a look at my Ko-fi. Any and all support is greatly appreciated. Tomorrow marks the halfway point for the 30 day challenge and I’ll be talking about my favorite sidekick or pet from an anime series… I bet a lot of people choose something from a magical girl series for that one. As always, thanks for reading!
This has been on my TBW list since it came out. It looks stunning.

Nice post! I’m surprised I’ve never heard of Wolf Children as it seems Ghibli-esque. I feel like I get a sense of protectiveness and pride from the mother-looking one even though I’ve never seen it, so I’m definitely intrigued just by the looks alone. It’s always cool when a picture tells a story and something tells me this is the kind of film that might make me shed a tear or two.
I’m also interested in this challenge. Is there an official way to start the 30 day challenge or do I just start posting?

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the post and I really hope you decide to check out Wolf Children 🙂
As for the challenge, you can do it whenever. You just need the photo I have. Usually people do it within a year or two of blogging but I was lazy XD I would recommend doing it though. However, it helps to have seen at lest 20-50 shows because otherwise your answers wold be a bit repetitive/boring.

Hmm cool I might hold out. I’ve seen about 30 shows but it depends on how many of the questions I think I can answer originally. Thanks!
