The Nightmare Before Christmas Review

Overview

This is Film review 1 & is part of Halloween Week🎃

With Halloween being today, I decided to do what any department store would; I decided to get ready for Christmas! Seriously though, it’s kind of crazy how people switch gears like that, especially with a whole month between then, and another holiday. Regardless, I figured we should take it easy for the last day of Halloween week and take a look at what I consider the quintessential Halloween movie. Continue reading

This is anime review 7 & is part of Halloween Week🎃

Some anime can be scary, but most anime that try to go the horror route are pretty bad and not worth your time or money. That being said, every once and awhile a show comes around and manages to get things right. Another tries to be one of these horror gems, offering mystery, gore, and suspense. From The New World Review

Overview

Anime Review 5 & Part of Halloween Week🎃

I finally finished it! This review has been a long time coming but truthfully it was for Halloween Week from the start. From The New World originally aired in 2012 and was produced by A-1 Pictures. The anime is 25 episodes long and takes around 10 hours to complete. Billed as a horror show that is greatly underrated, does From The New World (an obvious reference to Antonin Dvorak’s symphony of the same name) hold up to all the hype? Continue reading

SOMA Review

Overview

This is video game review 2 and is a part of Halloween Week🎃

SOMA is a first person horror game created by Frictional games and released September of 2015. Known for other horror titles such as Amnesia and the Penumbra series. Both Amnesia and Penumbra were excellent experiences that left me wanting more. The big question is, did SOMA meet expectations, or fall a little flat? Continue reading
